Was that ever really something that anyone thought of as realistic?

I feel like that poster that has become a curmudgeonly jerk. But honestly, if he couldn't start here, I never thought he would there either. I will take it a step further, if both Braxton Burmeister and Quincy Patterson had transferred to NDSU. Burmeister would have beat him out. Folks we ain't Clemson or Alabama. If a player leaves, he may have something in the tank left...but he isn't someone that we wanted to be a big part of things. Which is why they leave. Our scraps don't become NFL draft picks regardless of what they might think about themselves. Scraps from playoff contenders however do.
